Jo Hinchliffe
Jo is a Freelance Maker and technical writer with a focus on Opensource technologies. His clients include Raspberry Pi, Tindie, The FreeCAD Project Assc, RS Electronics, Toms Hardware and more. Jo sat on the UK Rocketry council for numerous years, was a core contributor to the Libre Space Foundation and also holds a UK altitude record for A impulse rocketry. He has designed and delivered many rocketry workshops and mentored rocketry teams and individuals in the UK. He was a founder memebr of "The FLame Trench" a collaborative group including Joe Barnard and Arsenio Menendes.
J. Simmons
Dr. J. Simmons is the founder of Mach 30, a US non-profit organized in 2009, dedicated to the development of open source hardware for spaceflight. J. was the project leader for Mach 30's open source Estes scale rocket motor test stand (US000006) and for one of the first dedicated OSHW project web sites (Open Design Engine). Outside of his work in Mach 30, J. runs a Digital Engineering consulting business utilizing his professional experience in the US Aerospace Industry and his Ph.D. in Space Systems Engineering from the Air Force Institute of Technology.
